Les membres du Band Norvégien « A-ha » auraient choisi le nom de leur groupe de musique en s’inspirant de la chanson « Gloria » d’un de leur chanteur préféré - Jim Morrison, des Doors - et dont le refrain est le suivant : « Hey what’s your name ? How old are you ? Where’d you go to school ? Aha, yeah, Aha, yeah, Ah, ah yeah, ah yeah, Oh haa, mmm. » Tout simple, encore fallait-il y penser ! De même, le mot « A-ha » se prononçant dans toutes les langues, et signifiant « la joie » ou « la surprise », c’est pourquoi ils finirent par l'adopter.

LES P'TITS GARS DE LIVERPOOL 78 (Echo & The Bunnymen) SE PRODUISENT SUR LA SCENE d'LTC LIve!

 

 

Voici-voila, un autre de mes groupes fétiches, des années 1980/90 : ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN. Ce Band fait maintenant un excellent et remarqué passage sur la Scène Virtuelle d'LTC LIve, en véritable "Deux en un MuZiKal" de la New-Wave, du Post-punk et du Rock Alternatif, avec un Style ZiZIKal qui en jette et qui donne un maximun de satisfaction aux oreilles ! Vas-y BUNNYMEN, fais-nous ton p'tit numéro ! Bonne ZiZik en LTC LIve !

 

 

 

Dès le début, je vous sers à la louche de ma Macédoine MuZiKale, dans l'ordre et dans le désordre, quelques chansons triées sur le volet... Premier morceau  des Bunnymen (et de tous leurs amis) : "Bring On The Dancing Horses."

 

Echo and the Bunnymen est un groupe britannique formé à Liverpool en 1978. Il s'est s'est séparé en 1988 et en 1992, pour se reformé en 1996. Depuis, il est toujours en activité avec son chanteur et son guitariste d'origine. Et si on se faisait "A Promise"?

 

 

1984 a été une année monumentale pour les Echos avec la sortie de leur album majeur "Ocean Rain", dont on écoute deux extraits.

 

- 1) Le mystérieux "The Killing Moon" (en version originale et en version récente...) :  

 

 

    

 

- 2) Le très Lyrique "Seven Seas" :

 

"Rescue" is the second single released by the band Echo & the Bunnymen. It was released on 5 May 1980 and subsequently included on the "Crocodiles" album :

 

 

"Over The Wall" is a single by Echo & the Bunnymen which was released in 1981 in Australia and is from the 1981 album "Heaven Up Here."

 

 

"I chop and I change and the mystery thickens. There's blood on my hands and you want me to listen. To brawn and to brain when the truth's in the middle Born of the grain like all good riddles (...)" C'est le début d'une de mes chansons préférés des Bunnys "My Kingdom" :

 

"Thorn Of Crowns" ? Un peu Spleen Ideal comme dirait Baudelaire... Ce titre est présent dans deux des albums des E&B : "Ocean Rain" et "Original Album Series". 

 

 

Echos and The Bunnymen were essential listening for me in the mid eighties, when they ruled supreme with albums like “Porcupine” (1983) :

 

Let's have a few minutes avec le bouillantissime "Crocodiles" des E&B (y'a même un rappel à la fin de la Music, comme dans les vrais concerts... Trop fort le Jeannot !) :

 

 

Et on se termine en Apothéose ce petit SHOW Numérique, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour chanter sur "The Cutter", dont voici-voila les paroles :
